The Portal runs your community. This runs your organization.

Members, events, and donations already live in your Ummah account. Some organizations need more sitting on top: a donor CRM the development team lives in, a finance ledger, a volunteer roster, a marketing funnel. We build that, on your data, so there is one source of truth and no export step.

How it fits together

Ummah runs the community. Your dashboard runs the operation.

The Portal already holds your members, events, giving, and prayer times. Your dashboard sits on top of that data and runs the work around it: the newsletter that goes out Friday, the automations that fire tonight, the agents drafting while your team sleeps.

One source of truth. The dashboard reads live from your Portal, so nobody re-keys anything and no report starts with a CSV download.

The module menu

What we can build into yours.

A menu of ideas, drawn from dashboards we have already built and run. Yours is composed from whichever of these your organization actually needs, plus anything on your list that is not here. Most organizations start with three or four.

Custom CRM

Every relationship your organization manages, in a pipeline you define.

  • Stages you name yourself, not ours
  • One record per person or organization, with tags, notes, and an owner
  • Follow-up dates that surface on the right person’s home screen
  • Bulk import from the spreadsheet you keep today

Team management

Who is on what, and whether it moved this week.

  • Roster with roles, hours, and reporting lines
  • Check-ins pulled from wherever your team already talks
  • Per-role checklists that tick off as they are done
  • A fourteen-day activity grid, so gaps show up early

Finance and budgets

Cash, burn, and runway without waiting for the bookkeeper.

  • Cash position, monthly burn, and runway on one screen
  • Expense and income ledgers with your own categories
  • Budget per program, department, or campaign
  • Edit rights limited to the two people who should have them

Your operations agent

Ask your own data a question in plain language.

  • Chat across your live modules, with thread history kept
  • Suggestions shaped by whichever screen you are on
  • Drafts and summaries you approve before anything is sent
  • A written briefing on the home screen every morning

Need something that is not on this list?

Ask. This list is ideas, not limits. If we have built it before we will say so and quote it quickly, and if we have not, we will tell you that plainly and quote it as new work rather than sell it to you as though it were sitting on a shelf.

How we work

You approve the plan before we build anything.

  1. 01

    Scoping call

We walk through how your organization actually runs today, which spreadsheets are load-bearing, and where work falls through.

You getA shortlist of the modules worth building first
  2. 02

Written scope and a fixed quote

Every module named, with what it does and what it does not. One price for the whole build, agreed before we start.

You getA scope document and a fixed fee
  3. 03

    We build it

On top of your Ummah data, so members, events, and giving are already there. You see it working in stages, not at the end.

You getA running system on your own login
  4. 04

    Handover

Your team is trained on it, the admin guide is written, and we keep it hosted and patched.

You getTraining, written documentation, and ongoing hosting
Pricing

We price it after we have both seen the scope.

A two-module build and a ten-module build are not the same engagement, so a number on this page would be a guess. You get a fixed quote in writing after the scoping call, covering the whole build. Fixed, not hourly, so the number you agree is the number you pay.

Operations dashboard FAQs

What organizations ask before they commit to a build.

The Community Portal runs your community: members, events, donations, announcements. Every organization on Ummah gets it and it works the same way for all of them. This is the layer above, built for how your organization specifically works, holding the things no two organizations do the same way. Your development team’s pipeline. Your budget structure. Your program reporting.
It starts with a scoping call, and you get a fixed quote before any work begins. We do not publish a number because a two-module build and a ten-module build are not the same engagement, and quoting either one blind would be guessing. What we will commit to is that the price is fixed once agreed, not hourly.
You need to be on Ummah, because the dashboard reads from your live member, event, and giving data, and that is what makes it worth building. Which plan makes sense depends on what you are running. We will tell you on the scoping call rather than push you up a tier.
You do. It is your organization’s data, in your Ummah account, and you can export it. We host and maintain the dashboard itself, and we do not hand over the codebase.
That is what most organizations start with, and it is the right way to start. Pick the two or three that are costing you the most time today, get those running, and add more once your team is actually living in it. A dashboard nobody opens is worse than the spreadsheet it replaced.
Often, yes. Our own team management module pulls check-ins out of Slack, and our marketing funnel runs on first-party click tracking with no third-party pixel. Bring the list of what you use to the scoping call and we will tell you honestly which connections are straightforward and which are not worth the money.
Ask. Everything on this page is something we have built and run ourselves, which is why we are willing to list it. If you need something we have not built, we will say so plainly, and then quote it as new work rather than pretend it is off the shelf.
Starts with a call

Bring the spreadsheet your organization actually runs on.

That spreadsheet tells us more in ten minutes than a requirements document does in a week. We will tell you which parts are worth building and which are fine as they are.
